Standard health certificates are good for 30 days from the date of travel.

Current Coggins is now required, along with a health certificate, to travel between Oregon, Washington and Idaho due to recent EIA positive horses in these states.

Coggin’s (EIA )tests take 3 days (on average) to be shipped, read and recorded so please plan accordingly.  In an emergency, we can run a faster test but an additional cost will  be incurred.  Those can typically be back in 24 -36 hours.

When scheduling an appointment for a Health Certificate, please be sure to have the complete street address of the event or location you are attending.

Brand inspections are also required for interstate travel.

The Wood River Valley brand inspector is George Spencer at (208) 539-0294.
